Dr. Eun Um Joins Harvard

Dr. Eun Um, a distinguished expert in statistical modeling and research methodologies, has joined Harvard Innovation Lab as an instructor. She will bring her extensive expertise to professionals and students seeking advanced training in data analysis, machine learning, and evaluation methodologies.
Dr. Um’s appointment as an instructor reflects her 25 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, workforce analytics, and program evaluation across the government and private sectors.

Dr. Um has an extensive background in environmental policy evaluation, government research, and statistical modeling, having worked with agencies such as the EPA, NIH, and Harvard Medical School. She holds a doctorate in measurement, evaluation, and statistics and multiple advanced degrees from Columbia University and Stanford University.
Dr. Um’s courses will focus on applied analytics, data-driven decision-making, and program evaluation strategies, equipping professionals with the tools to solve complex real-world problems using data.
